Challenge Your PrioritiesCamp in Eastern EuropeCamp DatesEach week of July 2008Are you up for the challenge?Encourage believers who are oppressed and persecuted by joining with them in worship, prayer, and Bible study in a secret location. Feel the tension and joys following Christ in a place where studying God’s Word in groups is illegal. Experience firsthand the cost of obedience in other parts of the world.Partner with Eastern European believers to conduct a one-week camping ministry in a secluded area, away from the prying eyes of officials. You have to be willing to give up your comfort and security to join in, but your participation will help build the Kingdom of God. Some campers are believers who need encouragement. Others don’t yet know Christ. You can be a part of God’s work among your Eastern European peers as you help plan camp activities. The environment varies from location to location but involves remote tent living, outdoor latrines, artificial lighting, and community meals in the wilderness. During your journey your faith will be stretched as you experience a new culture firsthand, partner with local Christians, and live in some of the most remote, secluded areas you’ve ever been.
